Celebrate NYE with Sterling on Florida's Gulf Coast

At 8 p.m., local dignitaries will release 10,000 inflated beach balls along Pier Park’s beachfront boardwalk. This awe-inspiring activity, heralded as the nation’s only family beach ball drop, will be followed by a dazzling fireworks display.

At 8:30 p.m., the official Countdown Celebration will begin with live musical performances. Just before midnight, attendees will countdown to 2014 as an 800 pound LED lighted beach ball descends nearly 100 feet. This symbolic occasion will be followed by a stunning, second fireworks display.

In Destin, from 7:00pm to midnight, celebrate New Year’s Eve in the heart of Destin at the HarborWalk Village New Year’s Eve street party, where you can enjoy live music at the HarborWalk Village main stage as well as throughout HarborWalk Village. Also, you’ll enjoy the exciting ball drop over the Destin Harbor, and a spectacular choreographed fireworks show.
