Carnival Destiny transforms into the all-new Sunshine

Carnival Cruise Line has pulled off something quite unique. In a world where everyone is highly concerned about recycling and so forth, the cruiseline mecca has taken an old ship, the Destiny, gutted it and performed a total transformation and renovation adding redesigned spaces, innovative ideas and CCL’s new Fun Ship 2.0 enhancement initiative.

Staterooms have been revamped and lots of new hot spots have been added. Features like the first-ever three-deck Serenity retreat (adults only hot tubs, relaxing area and amazing three-deck cascading waterfall), The Speedway Splash racing slides at WaterWorks™, and much more contribute to the new megaliner’s facelift.

SportSquare has been added — a place to get your fix of different games (ping pong, foosball, mini golf, etc.), Cloud 9 Spa (a personal favorite of yours truly), Liquid Lounge, and a slew of new culinary delights and bars like Guy’s Burger Joint, Pizzeria Del Capitano, Shake Spot, JavaBlue Cafe and Havana Bar.

This video walks you through the beautiful Sunshine! And once you’ve seen it, you’ll agree you have to go! Hey, you can even join the Travel Voice by Becky onboard when she leaves on her first voyage from New Orleans on November 18, 2013 for six nights visiting Cozumel, Mexico and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Cabin prices as of this print date (and they can go up and down just like airline tickets and cannot be guaranteed) are as low as under $500pp for an ocean view cabin plus taxes, and lower than that if you don’t mind an inside cabin.

To book your cabin today, call Alan Whitt at Allure Quest Travel at 888-287-1379, 615-818-8241 or 615-336-8580 and tell him I sent you! Safe travels and hope to see you there!
